Where Law meets those who need it most.
Born within the Arcades of USP's Faculty of Law with one certainty: the right to dignity knows no borders. ProMigra exists so that no migrant has to face their journey without information, without support, and without a voice.
Lex Populi
Verified, accessible, and free legal information, available in four languages so that language is never a barrier to exercising your rights.
Our 4 Working Groups
Each group works on a different front — together, we ensure no migrant is left without support, information, or a voice.
Support
We offer direct and humane legal assistance to migrants. Our volunteer team provides legal support free of charge and in an accessible way.
Academic
Research, studies, and production of legal knowledge on migration and refuge, with the rigor and credibility of USP's Law School Arcades.
Advocacy
We engage in political incidence and advocacy to influence public policies that protect and expand the rights of migrants and refugees in Brazil.
Communication
We produce and disseminate verified content on rights, laws, and opportunities, in multiple languages to reach those who need it most.
The Weight of the Arcades for Those Who Need It
ProMigra is a university extension project of the Faculty of Law at USP, an institution with nearly 200 years of history recognized as the most prestigious law school in Latin America. This backing is not merely symbolic: it guarantees that every migrant receives legal guidance of the highest standard.
Our members are undergraduate and graduate students, researchers, and passionate professors who contribute with the highest level of technical excellence and ethical commitment.
